After college, Bill used his education in business to begin a 17-year career with the American Heart Association. He served for five years as National Chief of the Annual Campaign and later as Executive Vice President for the American Heart Association in Minnesota.

Bill began his real estate career in 1988 and shortly thereafter, earned his Brokers license. He became Sales Manager for Coldwell Banker's Eden Prairie office and held this position until 2003 when he was promoted to Branch Vice President of the Maplewood office.

Bill is author and instructor for "JumpStart", an experiential learning program, developed specifically to increase Realtor competencies, production, tenure and attitude. Over 1,000 Realtors have attended Bill's programs and learned new cutting edge strategies to advance their real estate careers. Bill authored the "Five Question Book", frequently called the Realtor's Bible for overcoming objections. He also published two training DVD's titled, "Pristine Home Staging", one DVD for Realtors and one for Sellers. He also published a new CD video business card for promoting Pristine Home Staging as a listing tool. These new visual aids teach Realtors a new technique for home staging and have proven to be outstanding listing tools for Realtors.

Bill has been married to Pam for over 30 years and has two sons, Brad and Tyler, both of whom are graduates of local Universities. As a family they enjoy many community and religious involvements, as well as time at their lake home in Siren, Wisconsin.
